The final race weekend of the 2025 TCR Eastern Europe season took place at the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary, not far from the famous Balaton Lake. Before the weekend, we still had a chance to win both the drivers' and teams' titles. While Martin Kadlečík was in second place in the overall standings, we were leading in the teams' championship.

In qualifying, Martin Kadlečík and Bartosz Groszek took second and third place on the starting grid for the first race. Right after the start, Martin aggressively pushed his way inside his rival in the title fight, Adam Kout. However, he himself assessed that it was on the edge of the rules and gave the position back. Martin did his best to keep up with Kout, but unfortunately, he was not very successful. Bartosz also began to lose ground slightly, which put him in a battle with the competitor behind him. One of his opponent's attempts to overtake resulted in a blow to the left front, and Bartosz was very lucky that the red flag was raised due to another incident. His left front tire suffered a puncture in the battle, and if the race hadn't been interrupted, he would have had to retire. After the restart, nothing important happened, and we scored another great result - second and third place.

And here comes the last race of the season. Martin is losing in the drivers' standings, but not so much that the title fight is lost. We are still leading in the teams' standings. The drivers are entering the second lap. Martin and Bartosz are holding third and fourth place. The tension in the pit lane is obvious. The smoke from the tires and the tension turns into sheer helplessness in a second. One of the opponents brakes heavily going into the first corner and sends Martin Kadlečík, along with all our chances of winning at least one of the titles, into the gravel. We can't remember such an emotional turning point in all our time on the circuits. At least Bartosz finishes the race, and we applaud him for his performance as we leave the pit lane for the last time this year. Disappointed, frustrated, sad.

We had imagined a different ending to such a successful season. But that's motorsport, and despite the lingering disappointment, we are looking forward to what the next years have in store for us.

We would like to thank the whole team, our second family, for the wonderful experiences throughout the year and we look forward to more adventures together.
