Aditis Racing and WSR Esports launch the From Sim to Real project

The world-renowned sim racing team WSR Esports and Czech racing outfit ADITIS Racing are joining forces in a new initiative titled From Sim to Real. The project aims to open the door for talented sim racers to transition into real-world motorsport.

“We wanted to reach out to the sim racing community. From our own experience, we know there are exceptional drivers, who can be just as fast on real circuits,” says Radim Adámek, team principal of ADITIS Racing. “A great example is Martin Kadlečík, who races for us in TCR Eastern Europe and also is successful in sim racing.”

“Our collaboration with WSR is built around giving sim racers the opportunity to compete in real-world events through ADITIS Racing. In return, WSR will support selected drivers, particularly from the Czech Republic, who want to rise to the global level in sim racing. WSR will help them develop their skills and experience what it's like to be backed by a top-tier international esports team,” Adámek explains.

“WSR Esports will essentially serve as a talent scout for us, helping us identify future real-world drivers. That’s the essence of From Sim to Real. The structure of the project is simple: when a talented, ambitious racer emerges within the WSR community, we step in with support and create a path for them to enter real motorsport.”

WSR Esports is a professional sim racing organization representing over 40 drivers from across the globe from Europe, Australia, the Americas to Asia. The team is led by Andy Schiel.

“Sim racing has rapidly emerged as a powerful grassroots entry into real-world motorsport, providing aspiring drivers with an accessible, cost-effective, and highly immersive platform to develop essential racing skills in high-pressure scenarios—all from the comfort of their homes,” says Andy Schiel and continues:

“Martin Kadlečík, who competes for both ADITIS Racing and WSR Esports, exemplifies the successful crossover between sim racing and real-world motorsport, showcasing exceptional skill and competitiveness at the highest level in both disciplines.

Through our collaboration with ADITIS Racing, WSR Esports is establishing a seamless pathway for talented sim racers to transition into real-world motorsport, while also giving real-world drivers, identified by ADITIS Racing, the opportunity to engage in competitive esports.

The skills developed through sim racing—including precision, reaction time, strategic decision-making, and telemetry analysis—translate directly to real-world competition, making it an invaluable training ground for emerging talent.

ADITIS Racing plays a vital role in this initiative by providing expert coaching and mentorship, equipping sim racers with the technical knowledge, racecraft fundamentals, and competitive mindset required to excel on real-world circuits.

By bridging the gap between digital and physical racing, we are paving the way for the next generation of motorsport athletes, ensuring they are fully prepared to take their first steps onto the track with confidence,” shares Schiel the vision of the project, in which sim racers will gain technical and strategic knowledge along with a genuine opportunity to step onto real tracks, backed by professional infrastructure.

“Throughout the season, our drivers will compete in virtual races under our banner, including Martin Kadlečík,” continues Adámek. “After the racing season ends, we’re planning a special event for the top sim racers from around the world, offering them a chance not only to drive real race cars on real circuits, but also to get behind the scenes of a professional racing team. We want them to experience the real adrenaline rush beyond the screen,” says Adámek.

The unified team will race under the name ADITIS Racing by WSR, symbolizing the fusion of the virtual and real racing worlds. Both partners see great potential in the initiative and believe it will appeal to a wide audience of both sim and real-world racers.

“We’re ready to invest all our experience into helping sim racers make the leap into real motorsport. For many of them, it’ll be the fulfilment of a lifelong dream,” Adámek concludes.
